Academic Assessments

Is your child struggling with reading, math, or speech during the 2020-2021 school year? Were they unable to receive end of year testing/yearly testing due to school closures? Do you want to see where they stand now when compared to their peers? Are they on track for this school year? Our practice is offering academic and speech/language testing with a certified teacher as well as a speech pathologist.

The cost for this service is $100 and will include the following:

• A one hour assessment including reading, math, and Speech and Language testing.

• A follow up Zoom call to discuss results, provide recommendations or referrals, review goals that need to be targeted and exercises that you can do from home.

Kindergarten Screenings

​

Are you concerned with your child's preparedness for Kindergarten? If the answer is yes, or if you would just like to see where your child scores compared to their peers, then Long Island Speech can help.

Option 1 ($50):

• A speech & language screener (Half hour).

• Suggestions on what needs to be addressed by a Speech Therapist.

Option 2 ($100):

• A kindergarten AND speech screener (1 hour).

• A supplemental explanation of the results via zoom.

• Suggestions on what needs to be addressed by a Speech Therapist.
